New Moon

by car.

went to watch New Moon after skool today, coz it’s carbon kids week…no hw basically

third consecutive school day sitting in the lecture theatre doing nothing. well, trying very hard to listen and take it in. i know global warming and climate change is a big deal, but…you just cant force somebody to be interested in it. numbers after numbers of statistics, countless programming/engineering/technology recounts. i woke up at 8:15am this morning (pretty late…), and i couldn’t refrain from yawning all through the day. wat a shame it was raining… measuring trees is better than being stuck in the lecture theatre agn! i think i might start counting the number of bricks in there next… *FOCUS!!!*

so eight of us went to watch New Moon. you shoulda gone bezzle, coz there were sooooo many bad puns in there, like “well, now the wolf’s out of the bag!” and “i’ll be back, after you take the dog out” i shoulda sat next to chewbey, who was commentating through-out the whole thing. it was worth the $8 just to go and see/diss it together xD anyhoo, me and squid were also doing our own commentating…syd: “omgosh, they all have chin dimples!!” me: “stop staring at their chins!!” | me: “hey, jacob’s got a winnie the pooh nose!” syd: O_O ” why are the wolves topless? gee, put on a shirt…” me: “they’re supposed to be like that… *long explanation*” syd: “ohhhh, right. but still!!”

there were heaps of other stuff and comments that was passed around. we agreed that vampires generally have a good sense of fashion, but hey, why do they always wear a scarf?!?! *ahem @ carlisle and alice*  the suspense almost kills you, in the way that it’s PAST the good suspense length…they basically slow-mo everything… oh, and at one stage, syd sed to me “ewww, edward has chest hair!!” and i sed to has, “edward has chest hair!! gross!!” and then has passed it to becca, becca to rach…. etc, until the whole row was going “gross!!!” and then there’s a scene at the end where edward is topless… GROSS OMGOSH YUCK. arghhhh, my eyes!!! and jacob’s shoulder muscles looked weird =/ and no, im not obsessed with their abs/flabs, unlike some ppl further down the row….=P

ahhhh, you guys should go watch it. for entertainment, dissing it, the guys, the romance, the mega lame lines, or simply the pure enjoyment. (Y)

Blasted Heat

by car.

Maybe i should have saved this title for later, but GEE. it’s so hot. heatwave ~ lucky we had two days of SLP, sitting in the air-conditioned lecture theatre… but it was actually getting sorta cold at the end. and sitting there for a whole TWO days is…phew.

but it was aiite interesting, the bit where we learnt wat sorta worker we were, half the communication stuff, shaz’s speech was WOW.

shame bout having to do a community project tho xDD ohh, guy from last year hosted (and is hosting) a one-hour radio show. WHOAH. makes me feel like we can actually achieve something. i’ve always thought that we were…still young and insignificant xD

watching twilight finally. i remember why i didn’t want to watch it in the first place, and im only watching it coz we’re going to see new moon on monday x) i have so many…complaints?…disagreements with the movie. the casting is all wrong. bella should have a slightly higher voice, edward shouldn’t look like he wants to puke half the time he’s with bella & he shouldn’t be literally sparkling and white from the body glitter in the sun. yuck. and in the scene where he’s first in biology, he looked like he had wings (and wants to puke…). billy, carlisle, rosalie, jasper =/ i totally dont agree with the casting. i hope its better in new moon, which ive heard it apparently is, coz taylor lautner cuts his hair and… yeah. yucky hair. i shall always remember him as the ‘murtaugh’ kid from cheaper by the dozen =) now there’s a good movie xD

term 4 is SUCH a bludge. these two days is SLP, next week is carbon kids, week 7 has 20 ppl going on camp & end of yr concert?, week 8 has canteen picnic, german excursion, music ppls going to see wicked (ME SO JEALOUS), cadets on annual. and week 9 ends on tues!!! yay!!

ohhh, and my dad just had his bday, so we had a seafood dinner at home…prawns, scallops, oyster, CRAB. WOW BEST CRAB EVER!!! srsly. fresh, big, meaty…and yummy….im so full x)

gl surviving this summer ppls ^^ (and i apologise if i offended anybody with the twilight rant. i like the books, but the movie is eurgh)

it’s been pretty quiet here…

on tuesday, i got bitten by a mosquito in history.  six times.  finished watching howl’s moving castle in japanese and it was a good movie – i love the doggie!  played scrabble with victor.

accidentally left my laptop in the maths classroom, thank you hasmeera!

so.  today.  was about to leave home, when i realised my low-battery-levelled laptop which i had plugged in to charge last night was NOT charged as i had very conveniently forgot to turn on the switch at the powerpoint last night.

our science class was quite, erm, interesting.  the teacher was talking about a 3km wide beach that’s almost horizontal, and the humongous tides rushing in and having to run away.  mmhm i want to go there…  and digging holes to poo in vs. not digging holes and mounds of poo…

now, because my day has been nicely uneventful, i will talk about something that has recently been annoying me very much.  i really dislike it when people take thriftiness overboard, especially at the sake of others.  and at the last minute too, when everything has been organised.  that’s all i’m going to say about it.

either the laptop i’m typing this on has a very large screen, or i’m getting used to the small government ones.  i have been having fun experimenting with all the adobe cs4 stuff though.

today was the second day of SLP (sorry if the time seems really disjointed, i’m adding on).  i would recommend the program, but sitting still for three hours an be quite discomforting.  got all these inspirational speeches and stuff.  then heard this lady teach us how to present speeches and stuff.

was walking to the bus stop, then just remembered i had an orthodontist appointment 20m away from the bus i needed to catch.  phew.

walked home, watched anime and ate (well what other verb can you use?) a frozen popper.  i hate it when the juice melts and you’re left with ice which doesn’t taste good.  also had an american kitkat (the design looks like a cheap knock-off) and crunchy coated peanuts (my current snack food).

Before you start reading, please note that this blog post, “::twenty-eight”, is unsuitable for people who are not suffering from a severe case of boredom. You should be doing your homework.

I like my new netbook since it is faster, prettier and everything else-er compared to the other laptop I have. The biggest problem I have with the netbook, however, is the fact that the internet is filtered.
Why is there Windows Live Messenger on the laptops when we can’t access the service provided (even at home)? It isn’t that hard to uninstall one program is it?

This blog is dying.

I stuck some stickers onto the top of my laptop, but it doesn’t look good. I think I’ll go buy stickers the next time I manage to find some kind of motivation to go outside for any reason except for school.

…So tired today. I slept on the bus…kind of. As in, you just close your eyes and almost fall asleep but then your head is jolted somehow and it wakes you up. It probably looks really retarded, but I was so tired it didn’t really matter.
There was a guy with a skateboard sitting next to me.

I think I’m going to get seriously addicted to Alter Bridge music. Especially this one.

But first…Cut Copy – So Haunted, from In Ghost Colours.
